Your baby seems to be growing normally. So do not worry about the weight part.
What is her birth weight. The birth weight triples by the age of one year.
Since your baby is growing her needs are high in respect to calories and proteins.
Start a new item for every week and increase that slowly. By the age of one and half year your baby should be eating almost every thing that a adult does minus spices.
Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic,
What was your child birth weight?
Infant birth weight doubles by 5 months and trebles by the age of 1 year.
For your 10 month old child 8 kg weight is normal.
You can feed the baby with 3 solid feeds per day with each feed of 100 ml quantity in general in addition to breastfeeding.
You can add ghee or edible oil to make feeds calorie dense.
But the quantity of feed and the frequency of feeds will depend on the individual hunger and should be given accordingly.
The type of food like home made or commercially available stage wise infant food you can use to feed.
Hope I have answered your query.
