Took Macrobid To Treat UTI. Brown Discharge, Foul Odor During Sex. How To Treat It?

Hi, I thought I had a UTI so I went to the doctor and they put me on macrobid. I just finished my last pill today. I noticed that during and after sex there was a brown discharge and a smelly odor. Did I not have a UTI and is this symptomatic of something else? While I was at the doctors I got checked for gonorhea and cymidia as well, I didn't hear back so they said that no news means I checked negative. Pleas help! What should I do about the odor!

hi..
you have been treated for UTI, with nitrofurantion..
now you have contact bleeding and foul smelling discharge..
you have not mentioned about your age..
your symptoms suggests pelvic inflammatory disease for me..
see your gynaecologist for the examination, you need to take pap smear/cervical biopsy based on the results..
all the very best..
