Took Morning After Pill For Abortion. Have Fatigue And Low Blood Pressure. Pregnancy Chances? Ectopic Pregnancy?

Hi... I m in Pakistan and me and my girlfriend are unmarried and abortion is illegal in Pakistan.. We had an unprotected incident and i gave her morning after pill within 24 hours and it was her first birth control pill. From the next day she got a fever for 15-20 days with nausea, morning sickness, constipation, and she always felt tired and sometimes she had low blood pressure and then her blood count start to fall as well. She had brown spoting and a little bleeding at the time of her period, But 2 3 days late came her period which was shorter than normal With very low pain. We v'e had many Home pregnancy test and they all came negative even after 6 week of her last period. And now all the pregnancy symptoms are gone but she has sharp pain on one side of her lower tummy n severe low back pain. Is she pregnant? Could this ectopic? I cant go to doctors here I need help! Thanku

Hello Brother,
I went thro' the history you have told regarding your girl friend.
Nausea, morning sickness, constipation, tired, low BP is associated with fever are due to fever only. Lowering of blood Count means which particular count is low is very important to assess the type of fever. Anemia, increased WBC, and decreased thrombocytes may common in fever of any etiology.
spotting and mild bleeding may be the effect of morning after pill. Followed regular period was shorter and with less pain.
Home Pregnancy tests done several time were negative till 6 wks after her last period and all symptoms have gone. Now she has a sharp pain on one side of her lower tummy (which side?) and severe low back pain. The cause may be plenty
1) For the last 6 wks she has not got her period, why? If her periods were regular prior to the present problems it has to be investigated for the amenorrhoea.
If there is a history of irregular periods then it may be an ovulation period.
2) If it is right sided appendicitis
3) Whichever may be side, Ureteric stone
4) A urinary tract infection
5) painful Ovarian Cyst, some time rupture or torsion
6) Any inflammation of large and small intestine
7) If you are sure that no intercourse after her last period ectopic pregnancy can be excluded.
USG and urine and motion analysis will reveal the cause.
If every thing is normal concentrate on spine to arrive at a diagnosis.
best wishes.

Hello
As you stated your problem you can confirm it by USG , without the USG examination it can not be said about the ectopic pregnancy.
its ok that your home pregnancy test is negative .
pain may be due to some other reason also, but can be ruleout in the sonography examination

i hope this information will be helpful for you
ok
take care
