Trachea With No Muscle, Hole In Heart, Non-viable Lung
A relative has a 3-month-old baby who was born with a trachea with no muscle , a hole in his heart , and a non-viable left lung . The family has gotten back from Cincinnatti Children s Hospital, where surgery was done. Just found out tonight when ER was putting NG tube back in that he has enlarged spleen .....what are the dangers?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The problems this child is having are any and serious ones. The baby is not likely to survive for long even after the surgeries. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
