good day! doc, the transvaginal ultrasound REMARKS are the following: Normal size anteverted uterus with an intramural myoma nodule Thin, hyperechoic endometrium Small ovaries with unremarkable echoes Consider a left para-ovarian/paratubal cyst. What do these mean doc? pls help!
Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of transvaginal ultrasound is as follows: The normal position of the uterus is anteverted. In your report also the uterus is anteverted. The uterus shows a intramural myoma. Intramural myoma refers presence of benign tumor of the muscles of uterus and it is present within the wall. The ovaries are within normal limits. The outer surface of the fallopian tubes shows cysts called paratubal cyst. Paratubal cysts are benign cystic lesions and are quire common. There presence does not have any deleterious effect.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
