Transrectal Prostate Sonogram Done. What Are The Findings?
My Transrectal prostate sonogram results shows: The prostate gland measure 3.7x4x2.8 com. with approx. weight per volume of 21.5 grams. The inner gland shows a homogeneous parenchyma with no evident focal mass. Peripheral zone is homogenous with no focal mass noted. Capsule is intact. Seminal vesicles are unremarkable.
You have normal TRUS( Trans rectal ultrasonography) report. Size and weight of prostate is normal. There is no evidence of hypertrophy and there is also no mass. Peripheral zone in which cancer occurs is also normal. Capsule of prostate is also normal.
