Hello Good Evening,
Your Echo cardiogram is looking good.
Heart has 4 chambers, 2 atrium and 2 ventricles.
Blood flow by following routes:
Left Atrium----Left Ventricle---Body Organs---Right Atrium---Right Ventricle---Lungs---again in Left atrium.
So Left atrium receives oxygenated pure blood from lungs, and this blood goes to body organs through left ventricle for proper functioning of body organs.
The force with, left ventricle eject blood to the body is called Left Ventricular
Ejection Fraction (LVEF or EF) and it's normal value is 55-65%.
So you are in quite condition of the heart.
In your report:
-Left ventricular cavity is normal, motion of the wall of all chambers of the heart is normal.
-Systolic global function indicates contractility of the heart during blood ejection to the body, which is also normal.
-Left atrial cavity is mildly dilated, which is not significant, nothing to worry hard and do the following steps:
-Loose some weight
-Walk after eating a meal.
-Light Exercises
-Avoid Meals that are high in fat.
-Avoid alcohol and smoking
Regards,
Dr. Naresh Jain.
