What Does This Transthoracic Echocardiogram Report Indicate?
I have recently undergone a transthoracic echocardiogram and the results indicate that I have undilated LV with good systolic function and mild cocentric LVH, with no evidence of LVOT Obstruction. What should I conclude from this result. Is it a sympton of something serious like hypertension. What can I do now to prevent symptons from becoming worst? Age 51, Height 5ft 8inc, weight 87.0
No need to worry for this report. Your echo report is quite good. Concentric LVH can be age related or due to hypertension. So get checked your BP. Since you are saying that your symptoms are getting worse, I would like to know your symptoms. But for this echo report you should not worry.
