Traumatic Head Injury, Was In Coma. Lack Of Impulse Control?
My 39 year old son had a traumatic head injury when he was 12 years old, the main area or injury being his frontal lobes. He was in a coma for four days,in the hospital for three weeks and on dilantin three times a day for a year.His lack of impulse control was explained to us would be the area of concern. He is aware of his outbursts and would like to be evaluated for current diagnosis. He does not want to alienate his friends and family and further.
