Treated With ESWL For Stone. Getting Pain Near Hip And Leg, Feels Uncomfortable. Is This The Stone Moving?
My 5 year old daughter had a 7 mm stone that was treated with ESWL (under general anesthesia on MOnday). She has done very well...no stent was needed and she has had minimal, if any pain this week. She just woke up with pain near her right hip and in her leg. She has no fever but is VERY uncomfortable. Is this the stone moving? shall we give her medicine or wait it out. She says she is not sure if she is hungry? Her stomach is off too.
Hi welcome to HCMForum. It appears that the stones are crushed to a point of bits and not powedered completely.
as the stones are passing down the pain arises. she needs to take plenty of water for smooth passage of the stone
peaces into the bladder. Besides i advise you to take her to the doctor for pain relief as the pain is unbearable. wishing
for a quick recovery.
