Treatment For Epileptic Fits In Child Despite Steroids?

my 4 yrs daughter was suffering from epilepsy . fits were started when she was 4 months old with 4-5 fits a day with jerking of hands and feet and uprolling of eye then started with allopathic medicine no help condition gets worse and after 3 months she started multiple jerk of 70-75 times during one fit of 9 min duration and that to 5-6 times a day then given steroid and fits stopped after that 1.5 yrs she was fits free during course of reduction of medicine fits again started and instead of medicine fits r still continuing for last 2 yrs . pl suggest .she is now 4 yrs old but her brain is like 1 yr old only rest all physical devlopment is ok she can't speak and understand very little

I really appreciate your concern, if this is Grandmal seizure then this is best responds to the slandered anti epileptic drug like " Sodium valproate" and other drugs if this drugs fails to respond then in my opinion further investigation may needed to rule out the differential diagnosis, you better talk to pediatrician, hope this information helps you, take care of baby, have good day.
