I had a mri-lumbar spine without contrast. can you put this in leamans terms. There is mild levoscoliosis of the lumbar spine. the apex is at L3. There is a mild duffuse disc bulge at5-S1. There is mild facet degenerative changes at this level as well. There is no spinal stenosis or descrete disc herniation. However, there is mild to moderate foraminal encroachment, left worse than right. impression; mild bulge and mild facet degenerative changes at L5-S1 with foraminal encroachment.
