Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My MRI of 2012 showed moderate sized central herniated nucleus pulposis at C3-C4 contacting the ventral aspect of the spinal cord. Also mild central canal bilateral foraminal stenosis C6-C7 secondary to broad based disc-osteophyte complex disc-osteophyte ridging. I am in constant pain in neck going down left arm into wrist, arm and hand weak. How should I proceed ?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I can understand your problem the report of MRI given here is very old one in my opinion you have to get done the new report to see the further changes, meanwhile your pain can be managed with following drugs, 1) Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day 2) Tab Acetaminophen three times in day 3) Tab Alprazolam 0.5 mg at bed time hope this information helps you, take care and have good time.
