Hi I hv a year old boy for the past 3 months he has been having rashes that look like fungal infection have used anti fungal and bacteria creams and still comes and goes now new rashes are coming out they are reddish and look like ring worms. Suddenly am also itchy with rashes on my back, thighs, tummy some look like rings and they are reddish. Please what are these?
I can understand your concern for fungal infection. You have not told us your age and any other problem.
Fungal infection of the skin is quite common in this hot weather and the further spread of infection to nearby of other parts.
To prevent the further spread maintain good hygiene by taking two times bath, wearing cotton clothes and change of clothes two times. You can also use nay good medicated antiperspirant powder. Stay away from hot and humid climate.
I will not advise you to take any tablet by mouth as you must be feeding your baby so any anti-fugal tablet if you want to take then only under dermatological supervision.
