Trying To Conceive. Follicular Study Shows Follicle Size 11 Mm On Apcod. Injections Suggested. Suggestions?
Hi Doctor,
I am trying to conceive, but no positive results. I have regular menstrual cycle. No issues in that. but i used to get so much stomach pain at that time. I used 3 months course as suggested by Gynic. Now i dont get that much pain and pretty much fine now. As per my doctor suggestion, I went for Follicular Study and observed that the Follicle size is 11mm on 18th Day,which is less. For this doctor suggested me to use APCOD and mean while asked me to go for some injections. Can you brief me what are those injections? or is there any medicine for increasing the follicle size? Pls let me know.
Thanks,
Hare.
Hi, Thanks for the query. Possibly she may told you to use HMC and HCG injections. Usually HMG injections are used on around 7th or/and 8th day. That will help in follicle development. And after follicular study HCG injection will be given around the time of expected ovulation. Then you have to plan unprotected intercourse at around the time of ovulation, that will increase the possibility of pregnancy.
