Trying To Conceive. Have History Of Endometriosis, Came Off Of Birth Control, Having Irregular Periods. What Is The Cause?
I have been trying to get pregnant with my second child for about 4 months with no success. I have a prior history of endometriosis .. had a laproscopic procedure approximately 12 years ago... and then prevented return by remaining on birth control . I came off of birth control approximately four years ago when I started trying to get pregnant with my first child. We were successful on our first attempt. Over the past few months, I have been having irregular periods and severe pain for a day to a day and a half during my periods. My period typically lasts for five days with two to three of those days being heavy bleeding . Is it likely that the endometriosis has returned and this is what is causing my difficulty in conceiving?
HAI This may be due to endometriosis. if your previous endometriosis is severe you may need surgery this time also. because most of the time we need surgery before treatment.
