Trying To Conceive, Menstrual Flow Decreased, Sharp Stomach Pain, Nausea, In Periods Now. Problem? Can It Be An Ectopic Pregnancy?

Hi I am 36 years old trying to conceive for past 8 months.I have period of 32-35 days.in past three months my menstural flow has decreased considerably and I have a very light 2-day flow. This month I had a sever sharp pain in my stomach at the day that I was supposed to go in my period but I did not.after 3 days in the morning the same pain and nawsea and vomitting.after 37 days I am in my period now but very painful and low flow. What is my problem?can it be an ectopic pregnancy?

hi, you had severe pain during menstruation, along with nausea and vomitting. since you got your period, ectopic cannot be ruled out, do one urine pregnancy test, serum HCG levels for confirming it. Ultrasound it is too early to detect anything in it. see your obstetrician for this. all the best.
