Tumour In Throat. Has Black Dot On It. What Could It Be? Cancerous?
Hi. I was diagnosed with a fatty tumor , I believe it was. But it was definitely a tumor. Its on my throat where a teach would go. They said it wasn t cancerous but I m not sure because they didn t do a biopsy . Only a CT scan and that s how they discovered its a tumor. I ve had a little black dot on it since I ve had it. Can you tell me what this is? Or is it cancerous? Thanks so much!
Hello
Welcome in H.C.M. for consultation
I have gone through your query regarding a tumor in your throat which is diagnosed by C.T.scan only, now you have seen a black spot on it, you are confused regarding nature of tumor.
You have not told about your problems concern with this tumor as- difficulty in swallowing, breathing, is there any change in voice, have you ever notice any blood in your phlegm and did you feel any lymph node in your neck etc. You told about black spot on tumor this indicates there may be secondary infection on tumor and slough may be form or there may be haematoma in tumor.
But I am in favor of biopsy of tumor which is really necessary for planing it's treatment.
With Regards.
