Ultrasound Shows Thickening Of Endometrial Lining. More Likely To Have Stroke After Ablation?
Hi I am considering an ablation , I am 49 and have heavy periods. My doctor ordered an ultrasound and found that I have a thickening of the endometrium lining and sent me to an OB GYN to see if and ablation or a D & C is best for me. My question is that I have heard that after having the ablation you are more likely to have a stroke because you have altered the body as it can not release that blood and that I will still have all the same cramps but not the heavy bleading.
Hi, Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. Before any procedure you need to undergo endometrial biopsy to know cause for this endometrial thickening. If there is atypia changes, then its better for hysterectomy than conservative approach. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
