I have an Umbilical menopause, but have been spotting for the past 3 days.Hernia (the third onen in 12 years). I have an appointment with a surgeon in a few days. My question is--can this Hernia cause me to have some Vaginal spotting ? I thought I was through with my periods, but have been spotting for the last 3 days.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
There is no relation with spotting vaginal bleeding and umbilical hernia.
Yes, vaginal spotting is there if you got prolapse uterus or cystocele or rectocele.
Spotting from vagina may be due to some other genital tract problem or some hormonal imbalance.
consult gynaec and get examined for vaginal spotting.
Ok and bye.
