Unable To Hear The Heartbeat Of Fetus, Heard It During 7th Week Scan. Suggestions ?

Dear Doctor,

My wife is pregnant around 7 weeks now. At 5weeks, she had a vaginal ultrasound and doctor saw the heartbeat and theCRL of embriyo is around 2.4 mm.Yesterday, she went to the doc again for a routine control. However, The doc see any heartbeat and the size of CRL 8 mm at 6 weeks and 5 days and the doc suggessted us we should await 2 weeks more to control it again and also he said that our chance is 50%- 50% which we will hear it or not. We are all very concerned and need some help from your side..Have you ever encountered with those problems before ? and what is your suggestions on it. Thanks in advance..

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
This is very sorry to say that your baby heart beat is not there so chances of miscarriage is there in your case.
You should wait for at least a week and see the baby heart beat and plan accordingly.
Good luck.
