Uncomfortable Feeling In Chest And Neck. Sharp Pain. Very Sleepy. Underwent ASD. Is It An Emergency?
I had an ASD repair 30 years ago. For the past few days I have not been feeling well. I feel like I could sleep for days and days. I have hot and cold flashes. But the problem that bothers me the most is this uncomfortable feeling in my chest and neck. It is there but its just like a full feeling, every once in a while it is a sharp pain but that will only last seconds. I do not have a cardio doctor and my PCP cant see me for over a week. ER time or can I wait to see PCP?
HI Thank for asking to HCM If you have history of congenital cardiac anomaly, have went through the repair then you should be in regular follow up, though, if the repair has been done without any post surgical event, more over it is 30 years gone, so there may not be any cardiac related problem, still go see the cardiologist, take care.
