Hello my name is Bob,
My question is, when I run for a long period of time or even walk a long distance I have a very uncomfortable pain behind the knee on the outside (right knee, so the pain is in the back on the right side). The pain is present only when I'm straightening the knee (no force applied) it feels a little like if the leg is going to fall (knee give up). During the pain I tried to do Squats to see if I'm capable and yes I am, no pain is present. It's very starnge, it really occurs only when I'm straightening the leg to take a step. When I put on a 'knee elastic' that you can purchase at any drug store, I don't have any pain. The elastic's job is to keep the knee straight so I guess when I'm straightening the leg, most of the work is done by the elastic. Can you tell me what it could be.
Thank you,
Bob
