hello and welcome to HCM,
NCCT PNS is non contrast Computerized
Tomography of the Para nasal
sinuses. It is a study to determine the status of the nose and sinuses and the extent of
sinusitis.
Mucosal thickening and ostial block of all the sinuses means that there are signs of sinusitis or infection and that there is a sinus problem
Deviated septum refers to the central bone of the nose is bent to one side or the other and is not straight
Turbinates are tissues which lie in the
nasal cavity which can get enlarged and cause nose block due to different causes
The above report does not mean much if you do not have any symptoms like nose block, headache, heaviness of head. If any of these symptoms are severe then in the light of the CT PNS you may be advised to undergo
sinus surgery for good relief of the symptoms.
If however you do not have any symptoms then you do not have to worry about the tests and just take a course antibiotics in consultation with your ENT and you will have no problem
take care
