Underwent Gall Bladder, Hernia Surgery, Heavy Pain. What Could Cause This?
Hi... 2 years ago my mother went in for a galbladder surgery there were alot of complications, and while having that surgery they also did a hernia surgery while they had her open. A few months after that she was diagnosed with stage 4 non hodgkins lymhoma..after two years she is still in alot of pain from where they put the mesh in what could cause this?
it seems ur pain is neurological in origin, due to severing of some nerve fibres crossing the site of incision during the surgery.u might benefit from drugs like gabapentin and amytriptyline which play a special role in neuropathic pain.visit a neurologist for correct diognosis and dosages of these medicines
