Unprotected Sex, Delayed Menstrual Cycle, Brownish Pink Vaginal Spotting, Nausea, Moodiness. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Pregnant?

Hi, I usually have very irregular periods that will come every 35 to 42 days instead of a 28 day cycle however I have not had my period now since it ended on the 16th of january. My partner and I are very active having unprotected sex almost everyday. About 3 weeks ago I had brown spotting that was a little pink sometimes when I wiped. This lasted a few days then stopped. Lately I have been exhausted and over tired, very moody and have nausea every now and then. I have had two hpt tests both negative that was over a week ago now. Could I still be pregnant?

Hello,

First of all, you should undergo one blood test for beta HCG level and TVS scan to confirm or exclude product of conception.

Other reasons are hormonal imbalance, vaginal infection with co-existence of stress/ anxiety, thyroid disorder, ovarian cyst, irregular diet habit etc.

Treatment depends on underlying etiology. Consult with your gynecologist at the earliest for other relevant investigation if any.

Avoid stress, take healthy diet with iron supplements, control body wt, maintain genital hygiene properly and take proper sleep.
