Unprotected Sex, Pinkish Vaginal Discharge, Itching In Vulva. On Birth Control Pill. STD Symptoms?

So my vagina has decided to surprise me with this weird, pink-ish, chunky vaginal discharge . Also last night my vulva was itching something fierce. Im on the pill, and I have regular, unprotected sex with my boyfriend (judge all you want, but condoms tend to put a damper on the whole sex thing). Is this just a yeast infection? Or do I have some crazy std?

Hi thanks for your query on HCM.
Since you are on oral contraceptive pill(OCP),so your sexual acts are not unprotected.Vaginal discharge is a side effect of OCP,but since it is associated with itching yeast infection is anther possibility.I would suggest you to get yourself examined by a gynaecologist to rule out yeast infection,Gynaecologist may be able to manage yeast infection,(if present ).

hi dear, chunky discharge and itching goes in favour of yeast but it is not pink, it should be white. there can be one possibility that during sex some trauma leads to a bit of bleed and this mixes with the white discharge to make it pink. although yeast is easy to treat i would suggest u to meet a gynec. also remember if yeast is confirmed, please give treatment to ur boyfreind also , he might show no symptoms but he must be treated. thank u
