Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I have gone through your query, and would like to start off by first informing you about a
urinary tract infection (UTI) at times being mild or more severe intensity. Although there is no way to ascertain its intensity and grade. Some infections respond to medication and individuals recover completely within 2-3 days, whereas some take 7-10 days to completely recover. Similarly, the symptoms can be more profound or less intense. Which could explain your frequency of urination being less in comparison to the last time. This is not an indicator which can help in ruling out a UTI completely, which is why it still has to be considered.
Along with your other symptoms, the possibility of a UTI still exists. Your other symptoms which are:
frequent urination,
back pain,
headaches, abdominal and
pelvic cramps can all be related to a UTI. The only thing that doesn't match the description of a UTI is the
neck pain, but this could be due to generalized weakness or even
dehydration caused by the fluid loss due to the frequent urination.
In my opinion you will have to go in for a urine analysis and may be even a urine culture and sensitivity examination, in order to confirm/rule out a UTI. Once this has been done and a UTI has been ruled out, you might have to go in for a screening of sexually transmitted infections.
The presence of blood in the urine of an individual suffering from a UTI is a rare finding, and does not confirm or rule out a UTI if absent.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
