Used Morphine, Loracet And Muscle Relaxer For Pain. Suffer From Withdrawal Symptoms. Need Help
hi my name is doris i was attending a pain clinic for 7 years my doctor lost his lic. now i am waiting to get into a new pain cliinic. i was on morphine, loracet, and a mucsle relaxer. I stoped everything exept the morphine no problem. but the withdrawal from the morphine and my pain coming back all at once i want to die. Is there anything I can do to help with the withdrawal?
Morphine is an opioid medication used in chronic pain syndromes, it has a huge dependence potential and the withdrawal symptoms from it can be severe, even life threatening in some cases.
Any withdrawal from morphine should be tapered off, with the dose reduced slowly over a period of time, and not abrupt.
I do not think so any other drug can be used for opioid withdrawal except for the opioid itself in low dose.
Try to consult a doctor and explain your situation.
Thanks.
