Using Meth Through Injection At Bend Of Elbow, Got Circular Bumps Under Skin Of Palm, Soreness. Help?

I have been using meth through injecting and i think it may be air bubbles but am not quite sure. the injection site is at the bend of the elbow and i am seeing circular bumps under the skin of my right palm just below my thumb. There has been soreness for about 2 weeks now. ive stopped using that specific arm. Is there a treatment for this? Could it be something other than air bubbles from the syringe?
thank you

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

From the information you have provided, I am concerned about the possibility of having picked an infection fro these injections. The soreness a bumps under the skin are suggestive of an infection. I will suggest that you get consulted and evaluated for this condition for a timely intervention before it spreads to involve other distant parts of the body.

Please, doing drugs is never a good idea. it exposes you to lots of infections including HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and C, endocarditis(infection of the heart), and many other bacteria infections. Consider visiting a rehabilitation facility to help you stop this practice.

I hope this helps. Thanks for using our services and please feel free to ask more questions if need be. I wish you well.
Dr. Ditah,
