Hi I am a 32 year old woman I have been experiencing excessive vaginal wetness during sex so much so neither me or my partner can feel anything, I have also been experiencing vaginal discharge throughout the day that feels like it just runs from me. Could you please help I am desperate to find a solution to this problem
Lubrication is provided by glands called Bartholin glands which are located on either side of the entrance of the vagina.
Usually, they function perfectly in normal anatomical situations. But they tend to over function or not function adequately enough when the individual is undergoing any condition like infections, pregnancy, menopause, conditions thatcause hormonal imbalances, etc.
You are too young to experience pre-menopausal symptoms, and the added symptom of a discharge could indicate the presence of some abnormality (most probably an infection).
Which is why I recommend a visit to the doctor to get tested and treated accordingly. I am sure this is a simple problem which can be easily treated.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
