Vaginal Discharge, Brown Discharge When Sneezing Or Coughing. What Is Wrong?

Hi. I am 20 years old, and am only sexually active with one man. He has tested negative for all STDs. I ve always had strange and continuous vaginal discharge for as ling as I can remember. But lately I ve been noticing a horribly scary change in it. For the past few days I ve had bloody mucus . Which I ve had before. But never like this. There is a constant brown mucus dishcharge but whenever I sneeze or cough too hard, a MASSIVE (I mean massive) amount of mucus comes out (not tinged with blood) it s actually all blood with the consistency of mucus. Then today I woke up with my lady parts completely and horribly swollen. I am finding it hard to walk, sit and bend over. Then pain is strange and hugely uncomfortable. I had a yeast infection 2 months ago and treated it with monistat 3. It did clear up. Now this. I m at a loss of ideas and I cannot deal with it anymore. Now the discharge is so dark it s black and there is a yeast like smell it always has. It s just a constant flow of this discharge. What is wrong with me?

hi , you must have some underlying problem because of which you are affected frequently.
Normally a certain amount of yeast(candidia) present normally but infection occurs when there is an increase in the quantity of yeast already present in the vagina relative to the quantity of normal bacteria. (For example, when the normal, protective bacteria are eradicated by antibiotics (taken to treat a urinary tract, respiratory, or other types of infection) or by immunosuppressive drugs, the yeast can multiply, invade tissues)
In up to 5% of women, yeast vulvovaginitis may cause a recurrent problem. Cause of frequent infection may be-
1. suppressed immune systems (for example, those taking cortisone-related medications such as prednisone) develop vaginal yeast infections more frequently than women with normal immunity.
2. diabetes mellitus,
3. pregnancy,
4. taking oral contraceptives.
So rule out this first to prevent frequent infection.
You can take certain precautions-
You can also take steps to reduce moisture in the genital area and reduce the chances of developing a yeast infection. Wearing cotton underwear or underwear with a cotton crotch, wearing loose-fitting pants, and avoiding prolonged wearing of wet workout gear or bathing suits are all measures that can help control moisture.
Go to your doctor if required get a second opinion.
