Hello and welcome to HCM
Your
lipid profile suggests that levels of
cholesterol is on higher side (Normally it should be between 150-250mg%).
LDL should be below 150 mg%. The level of LDL is also on higher side.
Homocysteine levels are also increased.
High levels of cholesterol, LDL and homocysteine increases the risk of coronary artery disease and
cerebral artery disease. This implies that there is increased risk of heart attacks and strokes.
For correction of these abnormal value first life style modifications have to be started.
This includes
1.Regular exercise (aerobic exercises like brisk walks,
yoga)
2. Diet low in saturated fats eg cocunut oil, palm oil
3. Diet should include unsaturated fats like safflower oil, sunflower oil, soyabean oil
Follow these life style modifications for some time and then get them repeated.
If they remain increased then visit your physician. You will require medication.
Regarding your other problems- blurring of vision, black outs repeatedly for
short periods, difficulty to recollect names and accounts, ringing sounds in ears; I suggest you to get your blood sugar, blood pressure done and also a CT head.
These symptoms could be due to
vascular disease affecting the blood vessels supplying the brain as you have risk factors for that.
Thanks and take care
