Vision Problems, Fainting After Using Computer For Long Period. Treatment?
Dear Sir I mohamed Jalaludeen i working in accountant with private company, my problem is when i using the computer continuously(above one hour ) i am getting little fainting and little vision problem until my bedtime,suppose i am not using the computer this problem is not happen this problem is mor then 4 years, i was checking my body & eye thoroughly doctor saying everything is normal. Kindly advice me this problem, how i can treat my problem.
Hi.. Welcome to HCM.. You are having computer vision syndrome.. Measures to prevent CVS.. 1.Maintaining a distance of at least 0.5 m from the monitor.. 2.Taking breaks in between.. 3.Blinking your eyes voluntarily to avoid dryness.. 4. cold compresses.. Get your eyes checked up for any refractive error.. You can use some lubricating drops also to get relieved of symptoms of dryness.. Hope this helps you.. Take care..
Hello, Vision problems are known to occur following using computer for long hours because of dryness of eyes which is called as computer vision syndrome. The treatment of the condition is by avoiding long continuous use of computer by taking frequent breaks in between and by using artificial tear eye drops.
However fainting is not known to occur because of over use of computer, hence I advice you to consult physician for evaluation for the underlying cause for fainting and treatment for the same. Thank you
