Waist Pain, Weak Erection. What Could Be The Problem ?
Thank you Dr and hello
My husband has been complaining of waist pain and has a weak erection.
We went for urine test, no infection and the doctor now is sending him to a hospital for scan.
His been treating this pain for six months. Im pregnant and i dont have any pain or discharge.
What could be the problem?
please help
You didn't mentioned your husband's age. Chronic waist pain and weak erection may be due to nerve injury. Nerve may be injured in lumbar disc prolapse or it may be due to trauma also. Nerve status is easily visualised in MRI of lumbar spine.
It can exclude the condition of lumbar disc prolapse and it can also shows weather nerve is compressed or not. Bony vertebra status and spinal cord is also visualised in MRI .
so, first he should go for MRI scan of lumbar spine.
other causes should be definitely sought for.
Take care
Dr.Indu Bhushan
