Walking With A Limp Due To Tender Knee. How To Cure? Suffered From Stroke At Young Age
My left knee has been given me pain.it's not tender nor swollen. But when I lean down to pick something up from the floor that's when I get the most pain..i also had a stroke when I was 13 and now I'm 30 and I do walk with a limp...what can be done with the knee?
Hi there. You first of all need to get an Xray of the knee joint done with a special skyline patella view. Start a pain killer like Etoricoxib for the time being along with thigh muscles strengthening exercises. If Xray is not confirmatory then next step is to go for an MRI of knee joint. This most probably is a case of CHONDROMALACIA. Good luck
