Want A Baby, Having Unprotected Sex, Not Getting Results. What Can Be Done?

Hi Doctor . I took Plan twice during a month. One in April 3rd after unprotected intercourse , then again I have unprotected sex the next day. After this, on April 6th I have again sex and took the pill on Monday 8th. On April 19th I have a very light period, that last for only 3 days. I was concern about this. I went to the doctor to have a hormonal test done because I wasn t having a normal period, the test on the 24th come with a high level of a hormone ( prolactin , I think, don t remember exactly the name) I didn t know the results of these test until last month. I planned with my fiancé to have a baby and we have sex on May 3rd. I am not sure if I got pregnant on April or May because of the hormonal test on April 24th. Is it normal to show a high level of hormone after taking plan B twice within a week? My due date was schedule for January 20th, but I think is according with my light period on April 19th. Thanks

Hello
Thanks for your query.
As your due date is January 20th, you most probably conceived around the 3rd of May only ( the last period of 19th April is in accordance with that ).
Plan B generally does not affect prolactin levels
Also you are not even exactly sure of the hormone that was elevated.
prolactin could be high because of early pregnancy.
all the best.
take care.
