Was Hit By Car. CT Scan Shows Foci Of Abnormal Hypo-density In The Cerebral. Meaning?
I was hit by a car, On March 7th. I was taken to a hospital and on my report of my CT scan report with many other things it says There are Foci of abnormal hypodensity in the cerebral white matter bilaterally, consistent with chronic small vessel disease. I have a few questions ...
1. What does this mean?
2. Will I have a stroke?
3. Will I eventually have Dementia?
4. What will eventually happen to me?
Hi Foci is nothing but the plural form of focus here it can be taken as meaning of gathered damaged areas deep inside the brain ( white matter ) due to damaging of blood vessel, this types of lesion generally does not shows any clinical symptoms but still close observation is must . Good day
