Was Hit On Head While Playing Basketball. Had Metallic Taste, Strange Feeling In Stomach, Passed Out. Could It Be Concussion?
My daughter passed out yesterday after playing in a basketball tournament. She played one game that was an hour long. I took her to a pediatic cardiologist in May and she told me it was due to her being so athletic and not getting enough hydration. But yesterday was different. She went ice skating and was fine and all of a sudden she got this metallic taste in her mouth and she smelled something metallic and her stomach felt funny and she got a headache and passed out on the ice. She hit hard and got a few bruises on her right side. She got hit in the head at practice with the ball on Thursday... Could she have a concussion? Could she have had a seizure?
