Was Treated For Sinusitis. Eye Swollen And Bright Red. Treatment?
My eye is swollen and bright red. There is extreme pain under my brow bone. this has been going on for weeks. it comes and goes so randomly. I have also been seeing little flashes of light lately. I have had an MRI done, and topography of my eye along with other eye exams. My retina is fine. I had an allergic reaction under my eyelid which was treated but the other issues are still present. No one has any solutions for me. During the MRI they found I had sinusitis but that was also treated with a nasal spray and the eye problem continues. HELP.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The redness in the eyes after taking treatment for sinusitis is likely to be due to a congestion in the area. This could be due to a viral eye infection or an irritation in the area. Topical ophthalmic decongestant drops will help you. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
