Weight Gain, Growing Small Mustache, Pain Everywhere. Have Plaque Psoriasis. Poly Cystic Disease?
My 39 year old daughter has weight gain (at 5'4 she weighs about 200 pounds. She has severe plaque psoriasis, she is complaining of pain everwhere, she has a history of losing pregnancies, but with careful monitoring and extra meds (whose name I cannot remember) she has produced two stunning and healthy children. She has recently started to grow a small "mustache". I wonder if she has polycystic disease and I wonder if a comprehensive examination by an Internist or wholistic doctor might be in order.
With the given history and description there is a chance of polycystic ovarian syndrome and you will habe to visit a doctor for an ultrasound investigation.
Other conditions that can result in hormonal imbalances should also be ruled out, if polycystic ovarian syndrome has not been found.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
