Weight Loss, Feeling Lethargic, Feverish, Esr 46, Haemoglobin 9.1. Vitamins, Minerals, Cbc Advised. Advise?
HI, I am a female of 37 yrs and underwent all blood test, Chest X-Ray and abdominal ultrasound as i was feeling lathargic, feverish and weight loss. All came normal except ESR which came 46 and Heamoglobin 9.1. Doctor advised me some Vitamins , minerals for 2 weeks and has told me to get the CBC done again. I am much better since then except that my body temperature is always between 99-99.6. What is the problem.

The cause of concern is that fever is present but very low grade.
E S R is high somewhat ,usually it is around 20 mm in female.
Typhoid fever is a low grade fever and patient feels somewhat lethargic.
So please get in blood examination for C B C, Widal test for typhoid fever.
Raised E S R may be due to typhoid fever and 2ndly it is non specific.
