I just had the DCR procedure this morning. I can call Dr tomorrow but, could you tell me a little about the following: it seems like the eye under the patch is way off in terms of clearness /sight. I had to add some tape so carefully pulled it up and when I did, it really is not good sight . will this clear up. I take the tape off in the morning. also, I dont have my instructions with me (will get them in out of car in the morning. I CAN TAKE TYLENOL.....right?

Hello,

Yes, you can take Tylenol to reduce the pain and inflammation, 500 mg , twice a day. Dcr does not affect the vision since it is done outside the eye, in the sac area. The vision must have become kind of blurred due to the eye ointment getting into the eye and forming a fil over it. It will be alright the next morning when the eye is cleaned.

Regards
