What Allergy Causes Severe Dehydration?

What allergy causes severe dehydration in a persons body? Eyes drying to the point of having to pull off the road to put drops in. Skin on fingers severely dries out in an hour or so, even after having them in gloves and slathered with cerive cream for the whole work day and sleeping in them. If left wo cream in gloves, they dry to the point of cracking open, itching and bleeding within hours. Face is burning up bright red dry patches at the forehead, temples, ears (are really bad) and now eyelids. Peeling at each of these points too. Patches of rash on front of belly, and on a part of the hip. Been on prednizone for 12 days now (3rd round) for this and an anti itch cream. It seems to be getting even worse instead of better. we changed laundry detergent and dryer sheets to zero dyes and perfumes. (changed that months ago) What am i allergic to that won t get better when i leave the house? or go to work? it just doesn t change. The dr even has me doing bleach baths! I am at my wits end!

It looks like you're suffering from Sjogren disease.
Sjogren's causes your immune system to attack healthy cells .Conditions like this are called autoimmune diseases. Your white blood cells, which normally protect you from germs, attack the glands that are in charge of making moisture. When that happens, they can't produce tears and saliva.

Dry eyes and dry mouth are the most common symptoms. You can get problems in other parts of your body, such as swollen glands around your face and neck, dry skin or nasal passages, or painful and stiff joints.
You should do a blood test to seek for inflammation and for Sjogren antibodies also to check liver and kidney function.
Use artificial tears, pilocarpine for saliva and NSAID and other anti inflammation drugs to releive symptoms. Ask your dovtor of you can benefit from hydroxyquine usage.
