SYMPTOMS: of a heart attack or getting one in the very near future: ache down either arm , shortness of breath , cold or hot sweats or both or alternating , chest pains to varying degree . If you get any of these , take an aspirin immediately . The aspirin will help ease those symptoms and make your blood slippery as to help prevent any blood clots forming . If symptoms persist , go to the doctor immediately and tell him your symptoms . Doc will probably run an ekg test right there in the doctors office and take it from there . CAUSES : high blood pressure , family history , high cholestrol levels , lack of excercise , age , heredity , improper diet , smoking , plaque forming in main areries to and from the heart (usually caused by high cholestrol levels) . IF YOU THINK YOU ARE HAVING A HEART ATTACK , NATURALLY CALL 911 AND REQUEST AN AMBULANCE . ALSO IF NO ONE IS THERE TO HELP YOU , LIKE GIVE YOU CPR , OR YOU ARE IN YOUR CAR ALONE OR ALONE ANYWHERE , TRY AND HELP YOURSELF WITH A SELF ADMINISTERED CPR . IN OTHER WORDS , BEGIN COUGHING , DO A TYPE OF COUGH THAT STARTS LOW IN YOUR STOMACH AREA AND THEN COUGH . DO THE COUGH THING OVER AND OVER AS YOU ARE WAITING FOR HELP OR DRIVING TO THE HOSPITAL .
