Hi, Tablets Cefixime and Azithromycin are antibiotics prescribed for bacterial infection. Acetaminophen called as Paracetamol prescribed for fever and body pain acts as analgesics and anti-pyretics. Caffeine is a Central nervous system stimulant. Asthakind is contains phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine maleate and dextromethorphan are antihistamines prescribed to reduce the mucus production and an expectorant. Fever for three days with cough and cold might be because of acute viral infection. If there is throat pain, it may be bacterial infection. I suggest oral rehydration by taking plenty of fluids, since high temperature makes you to lose much water from the body. Urine output such as high coloured urine and low volume indicate that there is dehydration. Proper hydration is necessary to produce antibodies against the infection.
