What Are Chances Of Survival For Diabetic In Stage 4 Lung Cancer?

My dad went to the hospital about 3 months ago because he had pneumonia. They later told him he was in stage 4 with lung cancer. Im not sure how far long he was in Stage 4. He also had diabetes and he is losing some of his weight because of that. He seem like he's doing fine and nothing bothering him. The hospital also told him that his numbers went up from what they were. I guess that means thats good. Im not sure, But I would like to know what are his chances of survival?
