What Are Chances Of Survival Of Unconscious Person With Parkinson's Disease?
my mother is 60 she is parkinson patient last 3 yrs . She is diabetic as well. Last monday she was unconcius she was rushed to the hospital doctor said she got brain hemorage she may go to coma. After 3 days doctor said she ll not go to coma she opens her eyes no other movement doctor its been 7 days still there is no improvement doctor told us to discharge her after 3 days still she is unconcius. It there any recovery chances. Will she survive my email if id is YYYY@YYYY

If your mother is opening her eyes but appears to be unconscious otherwise with no other movement, she is in a ' Locked In Syndrome' which has happened after the brain hemorrhage. Diabetes is a disease that damages blood vessels and her Parkinsonism which has started recently is related to the same. The prognosis in her case would not only be related to the recovery of her brain but also to avoidance of complications like pneumonia and bed sores which she is at risk of developing.
