What Are Head Injury Symptoms In Children?
My 7 month daughter hit her forehead while wake up .i didn t actually seen what exactly happend. She cried for 1 to 2 mints & slept back.what will be the problems arising from these types of hitting ,did it cause the functioning of brain? Plz reply me .

Hi,
If there is no history of fall from height, chance of head injury is very less. Anyhow, symptoms suggestive of head injury are- Excessive sleepiness / drowsiness / unconsciousness, recurrent vomiting or abnormal involuntary jerking movements (seizure). If no such symptoms in next 24 hours, there is no significant head injury. Just keep an eye. That's all.
