What Are Persistent Dry Cough And Blood In Mucus Suggestive Of?

Hi there. I thought I had just a simple cold virus; sore throat, swollen glands, dry cough, headache, but it;s been 4 days and I still have a terrible dry cough and now when I blow my nose, it;s all blood. Could it be something more serious? Thanks you,

Hi. understanding your concern.According to your complain it seems that since you are having dry cough ,you may be giving much strain on your nose for sputum to come out.During this process, the blood vessels may be getting ruptured because vascularity of nose is more..No need to panic .you should take a cough syrup for dry cough.You can take Grilinctus-CD 1 teaspoon twice a day..If the problem persist you may go to a physician .In the mean time you should take freshly prepared honey and ginger mixture for some relief in cough..Hope it will help you. take care.
